Eco Savaari

Wildlife education, one district at a time.

We built Eco Savaari for BlueDot, a mobile outreach campaign that drives interactive wildlife education to children in rural Karnataka, and turns a working vehicle into the lesson itself. Built with Tekion for Good.

01 · Key outcomes

What we delivered

A complete campaign

Idea, vehicle, illustration system and launch films, delivered as one argument, not a wrap handed over alone.

A travelling format

A format that resolves the access-versus-reach problem a rural education effort lives with daily.

A teaching illustration kit

Legible enough to teach on its own, in many non-designer hands, as the route scales across districts.

02 · Challenge

An education that travels to the child

A wildlife education effort has to be vivid enough that children care about animals they are taught to fear, and credible enough that schools and parents let it in. The children with the least access to environmental learning are the ones who live closest to the ecosystems it describes. The gap was never curiosity. It was arrival.

03 · Strategy

Lead with the lesson, let the spectacle pull

A striking vehicle and a reveal film draw a crowd. But what Eco Savaari has to do is translate a messy local ecosystem into something a child can name and defend. Village grounds and the half-hour before attention drifts reward presence, not production value. And only a lesson-led campaign credits the child’s own forest instead of performing over it.

The load-bearing decision

We anchored the campaign in the lesson and let the spectacle supply the energy, not the message.

04 · Creative

The surface as the forest

The body of the vehicle is one continuous canvas, not branded panels. A creeper-and-canopy band rides the roofline, a blue river runs the sill, and the animals of the Karnataka landscape move between them. A lesson tempered by the children it serves, with the continuous river making the systems idea literal: canopy for shelter, river for continuity, recognisable local species for the forest a child already knows.

05 · Impact

A lesson that holds a week later

Campaign impact isn’t measured in launch-week views. The honest measure is whether a child names a hornbill a week later, whether a volunteer runs the session without us, whether the next district gets the same lesson. A lesson-anchored system is built for exactly that: disciplined enough not to drift as the route multiplies, district by district.
